The Curse of the Necklace is a 2024 supernatural horror film directed by Juan Pablo Arias Muñoz. The story follows the Davis family in the 1960s, dealing with the aftermath of Laura Davis separating from her alcoholic husband, Frank. Frank gifts Laura an antique necklace he found in an old evidence bag to win her back.
However, the necklace harbours a dark force, putting Laura and her daughters in grave danger. The film stars Violet McGraw, Madeleine McGraw, Sarah Lind, and Henry Thomas and it was released in select theatres on September 27th, 2024 then made available on VOD starting October 1st, 2024.
Synopsis: After separating due to his unpredictable alcohol-infused temper, Frank tries to win his wife Laura back by giving her a beautiful antique necklace he finds in an old 1938 evidence bag at the station. Unfortunately, the necklace is a conduit for the tormented soul of an evil boy from long ago, and Laura and her daughters find themselves in terrible danger from a little boy who no longer exists.
