Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank (transl. Woman 2: Terror of the Headless) is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik, written by Niren Bhatt and produced jointly by Maddock Films and Jio Studios. It is the fifth instalment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe and is the sequel to Stree (2018).
However, the film stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana. The narrative follows Vicky and his friends who must defeat Sarkata, a headless evil entity, who is abducting the women of Chanderi.
A hollow headless creature ‘Sarkata’ is spreading terror in the sleepy small town of Chanderi. The trio of Vicky, Jana and Bittu, along with the wise man Rudra summon ‘Stree’, who has her secrets, to save them and the town from the new monster.
